How much does shipping cost?

Dopplers bought within the 48 continental United States ship UPS ground for FREE. Click here to see shipping rates.

You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order.

What is your refund or exchange policy?

Once you have received your Stork Radio, you have 10 days to try the unit and make sure you are completely satisfied. If, for any reason, you wish to return the unit, give us a call within 7 days and we will refund the rental price less shipping charges.

All Stork Radio doppler units are also covered by a full warranty - if at any time during the rental period there is any problem with your unit (outside of neglect or misuse of the unit), Stork Radio will promptly replace the unit at no charge to you.

Are Home Dopplers Safe?

The FDA regulates Doppler ultrasound. No harmful effects on the fetus have ever been reported. The Food and Drug Administration of the United States (FDA) and the Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) have approved the Doppler for in-home use with a licensed caregiverís prescription. Still, as with anything in life, we recommend moderation.

What if I don't hear the heartbeat?

Don't panic. The baby may be in a position where hearing the heartbeat is difficult.

What if I run out of gel for my home doppler?

All dopplers are shipped with a tube of ultrasound gel. If this runs out, You can purchase more here.

How long does it take to receive the Stork Radio home doppler?

Your Stork Radio fetal Doppler will be shipped the same day if ordered before 3:00PM PST (M-F); otherwise, it will ship the next business day. Within the U.S., regular delivery takes 2-3 business days. Standard overnight will be delivered by 6:00PM. Priority Overnight will be delivered by 10:30AM, but is not available in some rural areas. All delivery times within the U.S. are guaranteed. International shipments typically take 2-5 business days. More specific shipping information can be found on the Shipping Rates Page.

Will my rental fees apply if I decide to buy the Stork Radio home doppler?

Yes, all rental fees will apply directly toward the purchase price.

Will I be able to tell my babyís heartbeat from my own with my home doppler?

Your resting heart rate will be well below 100 (usually below 75) beats per minute and your babyís will typically be between 120 and 180 beats per minute. This difference makes them very easy to tell apart, no matter which Doppler you are using.

Is there a minimum number of months I must rent the home doppler?

No. You can rent for one month or your whole pregnancy or anywhere in between. It is entirely up to you to decide how long you would like to keep the Doppler.

What if I want the home doppler shipped to work but I havenít yet told them I am pregnant?

No problem. All of our dopplers are shipped from our "Online Store." Our company name is not on the external box. Additionally, there is nothing on the box which might identify the contents.

How does the billing of the home doppler rental work?

Stork Radio will bill you for whatever package you have signed up for (month to month, 3 months, or 6 months). You will pay for that package in full on the day the Doppler ships to you. Keep in mind that your Doppler will not ship until we have received a signed prescription form from your caregiver.

What is Stork Radio's privacy policy?

Stork Radio is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party without your prior approval. We may use the information we collect to periodically notify you about new services or special offers we think you'll find valuable.
